Photo Collage Maker combines several supported photos into one newly encoded raster collage. It is a simple grid composer—not a layered design app, PDF builder, or AI layout tool.
Add JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, or BMP files (20 MB each) with multi-select and Add more. Reorder with left/right arrows, remove items individually, then choose 2 Grid, 3 Grid, 4 Grid, 2 Top / 1 Bottom, or 1 Left / 2 Right. Each layout uses only the first ready images that fill its cells; extras stay in the list unused. Canvas size is a fixed preset: Square 1200×1200, Portrait 1080×1350, Story 1080×1920, or Landscape 1600×900. Set global Cover, Contain, or Stretch, gap 0–48 px (default 16, step 2), and a solid background color (default #ffffff).
Cover fills each cell and center-crops overflow. Contain keeps the full image and can show background around it. Stretch fills the cell and can distort proportions. There is no per-tile pan, zoom, rotation, or focal-point control. Small sources can look soft when enlarged into large cells. The canvas is always painted opaque before drawing, so PNG does not produce a transparent collage background. GIF or animated WebP become still frames. EXIF, GPS, ICC, DPI, and related source metadata are not deliberately copied into the export.
Decoding, composition, and encoding stay in the browser via the Image element and canvas.toBlob. Source bytes are not posted to a collage API. Ordinary website assets may still load. Identified analytics may include counts, layout, output bytes, and error codes—not filenames or raw image contents.
There is no hard maximum image count, but only two, three, or four ready images are drawn depending on the layout—extra files waste memory. AVIF, HEIC/HEIF, SVG, and TIFF are rejected. Failed decodes stay marked and do not block ready images. Output is one file named from the editable base (default photo-collage) plus .png, .jpg, or .webp. JPG/WebP quality is 60–100 (default 92); PNG ignores quality. Auto and manual download; no ZIP; no saved project. Reset clears the workspace and is not mid-export cancellation.
